Editorial Policy

This page describes how content on PaisaPath is produced and maintained. It exists so you can judge for yourself whether to trust what you read here.

Sourcing

  • Claims about rules, rates, and processes are checked against primary sources: regulator notifications, official scheme documentation, government releases, and established financial press.
  • Figures are dated. Tax slabs, interest-rate ranges, fees, and deadlines change; when a guide quotes a number, it is tied to a specific financial or assessment year so you can tell when it applies.
  • Worked examples use real arithmetic. Where a guide shows a calculation, the numbers are computed, not illustrative hand-waving. If you re-do the math and get a different answer, that is a correction we want to hear about.

Updates

Rules move — budgets change slabs, regulators revise processes, deadlines shift. When that happens we revise the affected guide rather than leaving it stale, and the revision date is reflected on the article. Guides tied to a specific year (for example, a tax-filing deadline calendar) are reviewed when the underlying rules are re-notified.

Corrections

If we got something wrong, we fix the article itself — not a buried footnote. Report errors to hello@paisa-path.in with the guide’s title and the specific claim. Verified factual errors are corrected promptly and the article’s update date reflects the change.

Independence and money

  • PaisaPath does not publish sponsored posts.
  • We do not carry affiliate links: no link on this site pays us a commission.
  • Where an app, lender, or scheme is named, it is to illustrate how a category works — a mention is not an endorsement, and we do not accept payment for coverage.

What this site is not

PaisaPath is educational content, not financial advice. Guides explain how products and rules work in general; they cannot account for your income, obligations, or risk tolerance. Before acting on anything that materially affects your money — taking a loan, choosing a tax regime, buying insurance — verify current terms with the provider and consider consulting a qualified, registered adviser.
